Unfortunately there was no VSI at the time, and HPE didn't care. If it
were to happen again today I think there would be more leverage.
What was worse is that at the time, VMS support was being used as an example
of the kind of old useless cruft that everybody wanted gone and few people
stood up for VMS. Now we at least HAVE someone to stand up for VMS, which
we did not before.
