I agree with you. We MUST buy VSI license, and we MUST encourage all the 
users we know to do it. Myself I PAY for an ISV support which I could 
have indirectly by customers.

But everything I said here is not to say to VSI do MORE, because I agree 
with you about their resources. I just say do BETTER in the form, open 
the doors, so we can HELP.

It seems easy to understand that one of the values of Open Source is 
that you can reuse things done by others. It's the way VSI, as everyone, 
uses things as important as OpenSSL, Samba, Apache, LLVM,... Can they 
understand some more usefull effort from VMS expert out of VSI could be 
drained *if* they do the Open Source work Opened?
