ODS5 is a superset of ODS2.
It is my understanding that all that happens is the drive info is
updated. All ODS2 stuff remains the same.
If it was me, I'd also opt for a backup first, even if I didn't restore
from the backup. One could do a verify/compare pass to insure nothing
was lost.
I've not yet used ODS5, the advice is worth what you paid for it.
