On a yearly basis the numbers from Sweden are mostly in line
line with previous years. There have been earlier flu's that
have caused higher excess death rates several time during the
last decades.
Part of the answer is the lower death rate in the normal yearly
flu this year. Many of the "covid deaths" would just have been in
some other column in the death statistiscs such as "natural causes".
So looking at only the covid19 numbers might give a false picture
over the total situation.
Some has also noted that 2019 was a light flu season, and part of
this years deaths had been in last years statistics, if 2019 had
been a "normal" flu year.
So, the net sum of it all, is that it is very hard to say anything
firm about the outcome so far. Future research might give better data.

Norway and Finland (and to some degree Denmark) has lower numbers
of Covid19 deaths. We are more inline with europe in general.

Much lower. Some analyses I have said points to differences in how the
elderer care are organised. Future research might give better answers.

I'm sure there are public statistics in Norway that answers that...
