Yes.

Not sure how popular Dibol/VMS is today (the Synergex decision somehow
hint at it not being huge), but there are some customers.

And VMS can ill afford to loose customers.

VSI cannot force Synergex to support VMS x86-64. If they won't then VSI
cannot do much.

I would assume they have.

But sometimes companies make strategic decisions.

That VSI is working on VMS x86-64 and how far they are is pretty widely
known in VMS world.

There must be people in Synergex knowing current state.

It seems not to have been enough to make a good business
case for Synergex management.
