what matters is VSI gets the Synergy DIBOL port done.

Synergy DBL has its own DBMS as well as connectivity tools galore.
DBL is light years ahead of basic cobol fortran compilers
VMS has now. Losing it as a development platform could cost
potential customers down the road.
