Yeah, seems that Somebody was going through their Pascal Phase back 
then too, what with EPASCAL and PILLAR and the rest. Never peeked in to 
see if that was a passing phase, or an ongoing one.

PILLAR wouldn't likely be included on most folks' "There'd be other 
work needed to update MICA for better contending with more current 
hardware and limits and tooling and expectations." list, though.

Not ahead of newer C, newer C++, newer-ish Fortran, an OO update for 
BASIC and better OO in the base system, Python, and enough 
underpinnings to reasonably get Rust, Swift, and/or other newer 
languages across. Etc.

And once all that's well along, y'all will prolly be busy porting to 
the descendants of this Arm server:
