I remember that the developers in my organization at Lockheed used a lot of
DCL-scripted build procedures that tested explicitly fo SS$_NORMAL after
compiling, and how they broke when this warning (and possibly others
introduced in that version of C) came into being.
We were also using MMS but not for every single application. I was possibly
using MMK myself. But I don’t recall if any builds broke that used those.
