The layered products (other than compilers, of which I have no knowledge)
were all common source for VAX, Alpha, and IA64.
Paul Anderson and I have largely scrubbed any VAX-specific stuff from the build
command procedures and MMS description files, and in some cases from the source,
in order to make things more readable. For FMS, for example, in making it work
on X86, there were a lot of conditionals where Alpha and IA64 took one branch,
and VAX took the other. In those cases, I removed the conditional check and the
VAX code, making it much easier to read.
I do not think we were given anything related to VAXeln.
