The sorry state of 64-bit "support" on OpenVMS is vexing, but then I'm
in a polite mood today.
VEX/VMS 🤬 Anybody want a t-shirt? 😈 But I digress.
This particularly after experiencing a 64-bit app migration as an app
developer on another platform.
Which had its gnarly bits, absolutely. Replacing 32-bit dependencies
and deprecated frameworks, etc.
The frameworks already available on that other platform made
substantial parts of that migration far easier, though.
Frameworks and techniques that aren't (yet?) supported on OpenVMS, alas.
