i did my renewal and received the new licensing. i would encourage everyone who requires licensing to do the same. the openvms team was keen to know how many people out there still required hobbyist licensing.

although december 2021 is still a while away, we will have another struggle at this time and i'm wondering what will be the best solution at this time.

the current VSI hobbyist/training program (for the newer products) only offers licensing for 180 days. we can hope something like this might change in the future.

from the legacy vax side of things, i am putting together alternative plans for 2022.
