Ya know John, I think you have finally discovered the nefarious desires 
of some people.

After all, it might be "job security", or just "re-invent the world 
every 5 minutes".  Since I don't understand their thinking, I can't 
really define it.

Of course, if a vendor would be so stupid to do such a thing, I doubt 
the work would happen, the vendor would lose all customers.

Some people are rather happy when creating work for others ....
