[Info-vax] P410i RAID controller consumables rated life?

Rarely see the Supercap fail, but the flash cards last about 4-5 years 
on average.Strangely I have seen quite a few dying in the last couple of 
months
I guess they (512MB flash cards) have a certain amount of read and 
writes (well writes) before they go south. I know you can put a 1GB 
flash card in the slot on the rx2800 instead of the supported 512MB. I 
think there is also a 2GB option that should work too.

the 1GB  works fine as several customers have upgraded to this 
unsupported configuration. Same as P812 which uses the same chipset as 
the P410i
