I remember talking to developers back in the nineties and basically saying
"Use source code control. It doesn't matter what you use. Use svn, use
rcs, use sccs, it doesn't matter which one you use. Just use one."
I still feel much the same way. It is very very important that people use
source code control and use it religiously. It really doesn't matter what
application people use for it. They all have good and bad points, but they
are all so much better than not having one at all.
