My first purpose is knowing about VSI plans. And the goal is to being 
able to explain its consistency to users.

I'm not sure VSI has a lot of time for such questions.

And it's just one of general questions about VSI planning Open Source 
integration. As for Ldap I know there are sometimes long history 
explaining facts. And also cultural habits. But consistency and 
agreement about ways of working on Open Source should be important.
