[Info-vax] Does anyone know if the unsupported TBO (time boost utility that "drifts" time forward or backward by adjusting ticklength) was every ported to the Itanium?

Volker,
Thank you very much.
I wouldn't test it on any production system either. It is unsupported and can easily cause problems, especially if you provide input that it isn't expecting. Like reversing the /DELTA and /RANGE values, which can result in overflows and insane values for EXE$GL_TICKLENGTH. In other words, there is no sanity checking, so if it isn't being used by a command procedure, it is a dangerous utility.
Or as Hoff might say, it has no blade guards.
And that isn't even considering that there may be other lurking problems in the $cmkrnl code that behave slightly differently on the IA64, although my guess is that it will work correctly.
Unfortunately, I don't think we will ever see another version of the IDSM that covers changes in the IA64 or X64 versions of OpenVMS.
Thanks again,
Jon
