I stand corrected, I think.  Could not find anything in the FAB 
definition to bypass locking.

To do this, one would have to use QIO in the useropen routine, not 
something I've ever tried, not sure it would work.  I believe Craig 
mentioned using QIO to access the file, thus bypassing the DLM.

Maybe I should stick to finishing the airplane ....
