have been a public announcement from _VSI_ way before now ?

Jan-Erik should not have been the one who needed to reveal this.

I've just checked VSI's website - there's nothing there that I can see
and this is _major_ and _very_ good news for VMS on x86-64.

My previous position is unchanged. VSI marketing should be building
up excitement about VMS on x86-64 via an ongoing stream of public
announcements, including reporting on developments from their partners.

The goal should be obvious: to construct an image of VMS becoming
active again after all this time.
