There are other databases than PostgreSQL.

Besides Rdb then MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite, Mimer, HSQLDB, H2 and Derby
all run on VMS today.

That is a very different bunch of databases, so all of them would
not be applicable to all cases, but one or more of them should be
applicable for most cases.
