Hey! I resemble that.

I reserve the right to name my desktop OS WEENDOZE.

WEENDOZE!
WEENDOZE!
WEENDOZE!

However, for full disclosure, I do feel that WEENDOZE does present a
decent user interface. I can access VMS via a decent terminal emulator,
with a 19 inch screen. (Anybody have any 19 inch VTs?) I can use
Thunderbird to communicate with people. I even can use several browsers
to access web servers. I've even converted an app from VMS to WEENDOZE
for a customer. (The customer is always right, and more so when he's
paying.)

Ok, the biggest reason I won't run a VMS based browser. Both Chrome and
Firefox seem to have some problems with some web content. I can watch
the memory usage continue to grow the longer I run the browser, and the
more tabs I use. Right up until the damn thing just stops working
and/or all memory is used up. Now why would I want to run such an app
on VMS?

I will admit that the web server content is part of the problem.
Developers seem to not really care if their stuff is actually usable.
Makes one not really want to run a browser.

But no choice, it's a method to check up daily on Donald (the idiot)
Trump's latest folly. So I'm stuck with the browser(s). But not
messing up my VMS systems.

But, look at the positive side. Soon we'll be running x86 VMS in a VM
instance, and perhaps a browser in another VM instance, on the same machine.

See Phillip, VSI is solving your problem. One x86 system running VMS in
one or more VM instances, and WEENDOZE in another VM instance.

There is that little problem of Phillip wanting "bare metal". The saga
continues ....
