These articles fails just by the texts in the URLs... :-)
There have never been a "herd immunity strategy" i Sweden.


I really do not get what you are after here. You show that you are
able to dig up some news mags from Australia and New Zeeland (?)
and actually belive that the writers have a clue? Really?

Seems to be the same article in two differt publications.
Quite short text and with no background or analyses.

So let us look at some simple numbers.
All numbers below are "per 100.000 inhabitants".
All numbers from Johns Hopkins Univ which are belived to be correct.

Infected during the whole epidemic period:
In place 1, Belgium with 5.453.
In place 9, USA with 3.694.
In place 36, Sweden with 2.045.

Deaths during the whole epidemic period:
In place 1, Belgium with 136.
In place 11, USA with 78.
In place 21, Sweden with 62.

Infected during the last two weeks:
Several smaller EU countries at the top positions.
In place 18, USA with 680.
In place 22, Sweden with 594.

Deaths during the last two weeks:
Several smaller EU countries at the top positions.
In place 33, USA with 5.73.
In place 50, Sweden with 2.83.

And our hospitals are not "inundated". The situation is much better now
than it was this spring. All cases today are handled within the normal
capacity with no extra medical resourses allocated.

Or just continue to read what ill-informed new mags write, if that in some
way makes you happy.

And again, there have never been a specific "herd immunity strategy"
in Sweden, that has been made up by ill-informed journalists. The strategy
has always been to keep the number of sick at a level that the hospitals
can take care of. Nothing else.
