DIGITAL Portable Math Library.

That shareable was a re-write of the old VAX math library support into C.

You're running with a different version of that shareable than that kit 
was built for, or (maybe?) that FreeAXP kit is somehow getting in the 
way.

"DLL Hell" is always fun. Even on OpenVMS.

And no, there's no good way to package system dependencies within kits 
on OpenVMS; no app bundles.
