We here in Canada agree .. Having stated this, we have a solution.

Simply make the US Canada's 11th province. 

We have already started this by allowing our highly addictive Tim Horton's coffee to be franchised in the US.

Once the majority is hooked, we can threaten to cut-off their coffee supply.

Only thing we are still not sure about, is how to tell those in Texas, that they need to learn French and give up their guns.
