Folks,

 

I found ES45 SRM firmware image in one of firmware update ISO images on HP
ftp site.  I think that it supports 21274 Typhoon up to 32 GB main memory.
I do not know this would work on AXPbox emulator (emulates 21272 Tunsami
chipset that support up to  4 GB main memory.  ES45 firmware image contains
'LFU' at addr 8 means that it is executable on AXPbox.  LFU stands for
loadable firmware update.  I will contact AXPbox developers about that. 

 

I was searching for other SRM and ARC images and found some.  I noticed some
SRM images contains two magic codes like 'C3 C3 5A 5A 3C 3C A5 A5'.  I
analyzed it and think that I found entry address at addr 38.  It looks like
three instructions at starting address 38 before it jump somewhere.  Does
anyone recognize that magic codes and what is that for?

 

I can't find SRM images for AlphaServer 200, 300 and 400 but just larger SYS
files.  Does anyone have them?

 

There are larger SYS files that contains several firmware images.  I think
that it contains LFU utility for flashing them into EPROM space.
