The dearth of file versioning support elsewhere in computing could be 
inferred to indicate otherwise.

But you already have access to a platform with a different versioning 
solution, and one that you don't have to maintain. Have a look.

Symbolic stack dumps are best written to transient storage in 
SYS$SCRATCH or otherwise, and queued for upload to the developer, and 
not displayed by default to the end user, and not kept around for the 
end user to have to clean up.
