Have you considered that Rdb is NOT a VSI product?

Customers using Rdb know who the vendor is, and most likely most 
customers have contact with the vendor.

Note, I'm not adverse to VSI talking about third party products, but, 
not doing so is not a valid reason to vilify VSI.
