Seriously, the issues will be complex enough, without VSI having to
support two protocols. It's past time for SAS to be a bit more secure,
so just go there and get it over with.
After all, who would be affected? Perhaps Phillip, and maybe someone
else. DECnet works fine for transferring data one time. One could even
place everything on LD volumes for one time transfer. And of course
there is always image backups.
