If you mean booting out of the equivalent of an LDDRIVER image, yes. (Except that would be hard).

If you mean Unix style partitioning, what would you gain? You have to fix the size at partition time (or trust "interesting" tools to rejig stuff for you).

On SIMH, you can just throw another device at it and "B DUAn" for a suitable value of n.
