Basic+ came out of EG&H, Tim (or Dave) Hart wrote it, I'm assuming in
Macro-11. Ran on RSTS.
BP2 was a compiled version of the language, running on RSX, not sure
what language.
VAX Basic was the next iteration. Not sure what language. Kirbey
Altman was one of the principal developers.
The language was them implemented on Alpha, still 32 bit.
Then moved to itanic.
So, you can see, there was plenty of opportunity for things to get
messed up. As for all the stack crawling, don't have a clue how that
came to be. Wish it hadn't.
