DCPS is still around, although it has not had any meaningful changes in 
a dozen years.  It is being ported to x86, however.

DCPS does not know about PDF files.  The suggestion that some printers 
can now print PDF files directory is correct.  You would not use DCPS in 
this case, but just use a queue that throws the file at the printer, 
such as an LPD or Telnetsym queue, both available with TCP/IP Services.
