You misunderstand.  I absolutely abhor group justice.  I really, really 
hate it.  But if I am to suffer because someone else provokes it, trying 
to avoid that provocation is perhaps the lesser of two evils.

And, of course, the threat of group justice does not make a wrong a 
right.
