At this point it's beginning to sound like someone pulled the cable out
of the wall right before the plane was about to land before sticking it
back in again. :-)

On a more serious note, I think it's time to look further afield.

Volker has already suggested the error log which is what I was going
to suggest as well. Did you find anything there ?

Is there anything in the accounting log for the period of interest ?

Is there anything in the security audit log ?

Any interesting messages in the OPCOM logs ?

Any clues in the files which were created or updated during that
time period ?
