[Info-vax] Questions and observations about OpenVMS

Thanks, all, for your responses.

My take away from this good discussion is that OpenVMS is suitable, for 
the foreseeable future, in a very specific range of work; that does not 
translate into desktop/server orientated processes (ie: large media 
production; think Adobe, Autodesk, and similar).

Additionally, there are many unknowns -- and we (the public) really 
don't know yet what OpenVMS intends to do with the platform in the 
future, yet.  But almost certainly that direction will be in line with 
traditional application of the operating system and environment.

Did I miss anything?
