I am also skeptical about whether VMS 9.2 on x86-64 will trigger that
much interest.
For those interested in working with VMS then there is plenty
of options for emulators available for VAX and Alpha. Only
Itanium is a bit hard to get to.
On the other side do not forget that these white hats
are not a worst case. Some black hats that goes public
1 minute after getting in is worse. And some professionals
(like what is called state actors) targeting and accessing
a system of actual value and exploit the access and keep
totally silent is much worse.
