DIBOL V4.2 supports 18 digit packed, 18 digit zoned, and 16 byte
integer, but 16 byte integer can only be used as declarations and as
arguments to external calls.
Since I've never written any COBOL code, I'll trust you in saying that
it can use 16 byte integers in calculations.
What are the limits in other languages?
