But if they want to proceed then there may be some ways to integrate.

There are some people here that prefer measles over Scrum, but if the
project is a decent fit for Scrum, then it is not bad. In fact there are
probably many of such projects that are doing things very Scrum like
even though they have never heard of Scrum.
