Try setting parameter P4 in DCPS$STARTUP.COM to "DATA_TYPE=POSTSCRIPT" 
or define a system logical name DCPS$queuename_PARAMETER to 
"DATA_TYPE=POSTSCRIPT".  These should be applied to the DCPS queue, not 
the LAT queue.
