He does that well, doesn't he?

Robert, I'm confused.  Easily done.

On Alpha, Basic code is compiled with optimization.  It is suggested to 
turn off optimization when debugging.  If one does not, trying to use 
the debugger is interesting, to say the least.

Or, perhaps, it will not use optimization on x86?
