Linux kernel dropped support for Itanium in 2021.
But Redhat dropped support for Itanium in 2010 same year as Microsoft.
Linux kernel is not a business.
Redhat is a business like Microsoft so they act like a business aka
drop support when there is no longer any significant demand.
