   Which "PWS" model?

   My dim/unreliable recollection is that (with the dead Li cell) it
defaults to the AlphaBIOS console, and you'd need a non-serial console
connection to get it back to the SRM.  I believe that I found (stumbled
into) that option once, long ago.  Where, exactly, in the AlphaBIOS
menus, I don't recall.
