I am looking for stuff that has been build and tested for/on
VMS x86-64. The difference between "likely works" and "works".
The vast majority of VMS free stuff will probably build for
(later on) VMS x86-64 with minor code and build script changes.
But for some even those small changes could be a hassle.
System managers not really into programming. Programmers
that don't do the language used.
I suspect that there will even be some interest for
object code that can just be linked on VMS x86-64, so
people don't even need an Itanium and VMS cross compilers.
And then there are the cases where there are a problem
(either the code does something very platform specific
or there is a bug on the VMS compilers for VMS x86-64).
It is an offer. If there is no interest then I will just
delete the page. And I can live with having wasted
some minutes of my life. :-)
