Hello,
Perhaps someone remembers about vms 5.5 .
I have a problem on ucx (ucx 4.1) (on simh 4.0)
Impossible to enable ftp service. I tried a lot of things (recreatinf
from @ucx$config, recreating all ucx*.dat, for example, or recreating
the user ucx$ftp, doing an autogen...). ucx itself works fine, but ftp
server.
What I see:
$ ucx ena serv ftp
%UCX-E-STARTERROR, Error starting FTP service
-UCX-E-BADVALUE, Value Service User_name is incorrect
-RMS-E-RNF, record not found
%UCX-E-STARTERROR, Error starting FTP service

$ mc authorize show ucx$ftp

I know, I know: I would be on 8.4 and x86. Not today, alas.
Thanks for all ideas.
