And we know they can't put anything that isn't true on the Internet.
I read it on the Internet after finding it with a Google search.
Surf's up in Illinois!
Your BRP, unless you are filing one for a multi-national, doesn't have to include fall of your government or the extinction of life on earth.
It does have to include:
1) Primary vendor vaporizing - obtaining full source, build environment, and new support for said vendor -- getting around this requirement is one of the reasons stupid MBAs move sh*t they shouldn't "to the cloud."
2) Total loss of primary location ala 9/11 where nobody from senior management or who actually knew how anything worked manages to survive.
3) Total loss of secondary location *if it has anything unique* Something like a regional warehouse that had a small staff to take orders over phone and fax doesn't have to be covered. A lab or factory that is the only location in the world where Product-A gets made has to be covered.
4) Total loss of your IT or critical IT systems due to Ransomware. (Good luck getting that stuff to lock up VMS!)
5) If primary location isn't the same as primary data center location, total loss of your primary data center.
I forget the rest. Been out of that world for a while.
