I've worked in Germany. The quiet good taste of their hotels,
restriction free autobahns, engineering prowess, sense of purpose,
and surreal, good natured sense of humour, just for starters. Seem
to have lost their way over energy policy though, which is something
of a mystery. Let in a million refugees as well, which has had mixed
results, but a very generous thing to do at the time.
Here, been with EDF UK (France) for gas and electric for a few years,
but most of their fleet is still nuclear...
