I think so.
But probably not in the case of Fortran 95 -> 2003 and
C++ 98 -> 11.
(Fortran 77 -> 90 could have been a case)

No.
But there are not that many languages that support both.
And I do not remember ever seeing a question about the
different pointer sizes in Fortran.
