There's a posting from Jan-Erik from 5-May-2022 which quotes an email
VSI sent out on the same day.

Please note the wording "eventually".
So no, V9.2 does not (yet) support bare metal.
But David's DL380 sounds quite fine for e.G. VMware - 14 cores only
require a single ESXi license.
