That isn't what I mean Dan.

How a community behaves towards one hobbyist program (especially after
it expires) can be used as a proxy towards how it might behave towards
any possible future hobbyist licences in related products, especially
if the vendor is worried about how parts of the same community might
try to get around any restrictions in those future hobbyist licences.
