VMS Cobol -> something else Cobol is undoubtetly easier than
VMS Basic -> something else Basic.

But people are moving off z/OS not on z/OS.

And even though nobody got fired for choosing IBM
40 years ago, then the world is different today.

Today the nobody get fired solution is more
like Kubernetes and Linux in AWS/Azure/GCP.
