Ways to do databases distributed / active-active cluster has been found.

Oracle RAC, DB2 Purescale, ASE Cluster Edition, MySQL Cluster,
DB2 Warehouse Edition, rqlite, Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB, Voldemort
etc..
