The GUI part of VB6 is very different, but the language
itself is still very BASICish.
VB.NET language is way more different.
Some say that VB.NET is not Basic at all but C# with Basic keywords.
:-)
But the OOP, Generics and FP features make it very
far from traditional Basic.
